The Data After Dark transdisciplinary research collaboration is the most comprehensive studies night workers completed to date. It was initiated by the UCL Social Data Institute with collaborators from the UCL Urban Laboratory, The Bartlett School of Architecture, the Geographic Data Service and Didobi Limited.

James Cheshire is Professor of Geographic Information & Cartography, Deputy Director of the Geographic Data Service, and Inaugural Director of the UCL Social Data Institute
Ben Campkin is Professor of Urbanism and Urban History at The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, and Vice-Dean Public and City Engagement for The Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment
Dr Alessio Kolioulis is Associate Professor and Course Director of the MSc in Urban Economic Development at the Bartlett Development Planning Unit (DPU) and Director of the DPU Training and Advisory Services
Dr Justin van Dijk a Lecturer in Social and Geographic Data Science at UCL. Their research focuses on the application of geospatial methods and novel data sources to study urban systems and socio-spatial inequalities
Matthew Hopkinson is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Didobi and an Honorary Professor of Practice at UCL
Matt Baker is an Associate at Didobi and Founder of Rose Associates
Mikaella Mavrogeni is a PhD researcher in Spatial Data Science, specialising in the use of GPS location data to understand urban mobility, and in integrating interactional geographies with geodemographics
Michał Iliev is a PhD student in the UCL Department of Geography and the Geographic Data Service. His doctoral project leverages novel datasets and geospatial methodologies to analyse the challenges and needs of night-time workers in London
Róisín Fellowes worked on Data After Dark as a Data Science intern in the UCL Social Data Institute
